Robert McGregor

Robert McGregor had a previous life in the oil exploration business with Schlumberger International. Initially he was actively involved in land and high risk offshore exploration projects and eventually became the manager for the company’s district office in Ventura California. Transitioning to create a new career in the elevator business in 2005 with a consulting firm based in Ottawa he relocated to Vancouver and joined KJA in 2022. Between both industries he has traveled extensively with each. Robert’s managerial experience includes:

• Managed multimillion dollar district operations for SWS (Schlumberger Well Services) Ventura, California

• Management and coordination of accessibility lift, dumbwaiter, and escalator new construction projects

• Management of elevator modernization and new construction projects

• Maintenance management program implementation

• Procurement assistance and contract negotiations

Robert has managed a variety of modernization, new construction and maintenance projects and has provided support for national programs for real estate and property management firms across Canada.

Robert is performing safety inspections of federal elevating devices across British Columbia and the Yukon and has previously inspected elevators across Canada for federal buildings.
