Robert Buckley has more than 35 years of experience in vertical transportation, beginning as an elevator technician and adjustor with Delta Elevator Company, an Otis company, in Boston. He rose through modernization superintendent, service operations manager, and vice president roles at Delta, then led Otis businesses as President of Unitec Elevator Company in New York, General Manager of ACM Elevator Services in Chicago, and Regional General Manager for Otis in New York.
Robert moved into consulting as President of Vertical Professional Solutions and Executive Vice President of Michael Blades & Associates, and has served as CEO of Buckley Belcher & Company since 2019. Having worked in the field, in operations, and in executive leadership, he brings a practical view of elevator performance, modernization, and contractor management to every engagement. He holds an Executive MBA from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Emmanuel College, and is a graduate of the National Elevator Industry Educational Program.
