Richard An

As a vertical transportation consultant, Richard An is currently involved with various aspects of KJA’s elevator and escalator operations including modernization project management, maintenance program management, preparing in-depth specifications for diverse types of projects, traffic simulations, and maintenance and technical audits. He has consulted on hundreds of projects with individual values ranging up to $30M and has been involved in various national programs for major real estate and property management firms.

Richard is currently involved with numerous ongoing commercial vertical transportation projects based in the Financial District of the downtown Toronto core such as the elevator modernizations at TD Tower 1 and TD Tower 3 for Cadillac Fairview, and the Brookfield Place – Bay/Wellington Tower for Brookfield Properties.

Richard has completed large-scale inspections for clients such as Cadillac Fairview, Oxford Properties, and the City of Toronto. He has inspected thousands of elevating devices, including various commercial and residential properties.
