Ian Hambly

As a professional consultant, Ian Hambly has significant experience in all facets and aspects of consulting services covering vertical transportation since starting his career in 1980.

Ian joined KJA in February 2016 following the industry merger between ACSI and KJA, when he took on the role of Vice President until 2018. He returned to KJA after holding the Director of Vertical Transportation Systems with Cadillac Fairview. In 2020. Since returning to KJA, he has held the position of Director of Special Projects on a part-time basis.

Over the course of his career, Ian has also provided extensive technical operational advisory services for major institutions and landmarks, including, the CN Tower, the Air Canada Center, the University of Toronto, and Humber College. While his depth of design and modernization for such institutions as the University of Toronto and the Kingston General Hospital, is significant. Ian has significant management experience with:

• Manufacturer and supplier relations for the elevator industry; custom components

• Business development and financial management

• Account management and client relations
