Griffin Wells is a Junior Consultant based in Toronto. He assists with periodic in-service safety inspections for TSSA and Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), as well as elevator maintenance inspections. He holds a TSSA EDM-T license and has field experience with traction and hydraulic elevators, machine-room-less (MRL) units, freight elevators, platform lifts, manlifts, and B355 accessibility lifts. He is trained in safe work procedures for machine rooms, car tops, hoistways, and pits.
Griffin graduated from the Robotics Engineering program at Western Technical-Commercial School and is now enrolled in the Electronics Technician program at George Brown Polytechnic. His background in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), circuit schematics and wiring diagrams, CAD and 3D modelling, and hardware and software troubleshooting gives him a solid technical foundation for working with modern elevator controls and equipment.
