ATIS Acquires Two Inspection Companies

Key acquisitions add to the company’s presence in vital elevator inspection markets

ST. LOUIS (June 7, 2019) – American Testing and Inspection Services, LLC (ATIS) is pleased to announce that it recently acquired the inspection businesses of both South Florida-based Landmark Elevator Consultants and Kenneth H. Lemp Elevator Consultant Inc. in St. Louis. These recent acquisitions strengthen the company’s presence in the Southeast and Midwest and firmly establish ATIS as the largest provider of safety inspection and compliance management services for elevators, escalators and other moving conveyances in the U.S.

Landmark Elevator Consultants, which has served clients for more than 25 years, will continue to be managed by Craig Faux and Peter Hofmeister. Landmark Elevator Consultants provides full-service elevator and escalator consultations throughout the state of Florida.

Under the continued leadership of Jim Lemp, president, Kenneth H. Lemp Elevator Consultant Inc. will continue to offer the full-service elevator and escalator consulting they have for the last 35 years.
