Door Lock Monitoring (DLM) systems keep elevators locked in place until the doors are completely closed. Some jurisdictions, like New York, Florida, and Nevada, already require DLM in accordance with ASME A17.3. Many other jurisdictions are moving toward this critical safety requirement.
