The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in Canada.  

In 2019 an ambitious construction project was launched to create space for 3,000 staff members. The 22-storey education, training and administrative tower is a critical upgrade to the existing SickKids Hospital. The tower includes new simulation spaces and conference spaces. It is connected to the main hospital via a pedestrian bridge.

KJA was involved in the design development phase, simulations, custom elevator layouts, specifications, contract arrangements, drawing reviews, project supervision and final commissioning.
