Louis Beauchemin, P. Eng.

Louis Beauchemin joined KJA in 1991 and since then has participated in the realization of many modernization and new construction projects.

Louis inspected several thousands of elevators and escalators. He also supervised the Cominar maintenance program portfolio in Québec. Louis’ managerial experience includes:

• Project supervision and management

• Maintenance management program supervision

• Business development and financial management

• Account management and client relations

• Management of the Montréal office from 1991 to 2022

Louis has appeared as expert witness for Concordia University John-Molson building elevator case, Westin hotel elevator incident, 400 Place Juge-Desnoyers elevator accident, Clos St-Bernard and 1350 Sherbrooke West elevator cases.

He has been an expert for the inquests for the 2077 Robert-Bourassa fatality, Delta Centre-Ville elevator accident, Palais des Congrès escalator fatality, St-Martin School handicapped platform lift accident, Place Versailles escalator accident, 7101 Jean-Talon East elevator incident and various cases for the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
