The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital and a world leading research centre in this field.
Completed in 2020 as part of the CAMH Phase 1C expansion project, the new 8-storey McCain Complex Care and Recovery Building creates 110 inpatient beds as well as staff areas and included the installation of nine elevators.
KJA was involved in the design development phase, simulations, custom elevator layouts, specifications, contract arrangements, drawing reviews, project supervision and final commissioning.
