Matthew Shaw is a Certified Elevator Inspector (QEI-1) and joined the KJA team in 2011. He has provided vertical transportation consulting for a broad range of capital projects such as new construction, re-development, and modernization, and for various sectors including healthcare, residential, retail, and office. His managerial experience includes:
New construction and modernization project supervision and management
Maintenance management program supervision
Account management and client relations
Matthew has been involved with notable new construction projects such as 725 Granville, Richmond Centre Redevelopment, and is currently involved with various health care projects throughout BC. He has also been involved with notable modernization projects at FortisBC Building, Royal BC Museum, Pan Pacific Hotel, Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Matthew is currently performing safety inspections of federal elevating devices across British Columbia and the Yukon.
He is currently providing vertical transportation quality assurance programs at various sites throughout British Columbia. Overall, his experience extends through the inspections of thousands of elevating devices across BC and Canada.
