Jim Woolley

Jim Woolley is a highly accomplished elevator industry engineering leader with extensive global experience. He has been in the elevator industry since 1997 including international roles related in all disciplines of the elevator and escalator industry. This includes infrastructure, commercial, retail, industrial and residential. Jim was the Director of Aviation for a global elevator company managing Heathrow and Gatwick airports’ full chain. Jim also possesses the following managerial experience:

• Responsible for the management oversight with indirect reports 365 staff

• New construction and modernization project supervision and management

• Maintenance management program supervision

• Business development and financial management

• Account management and client relations

Jim is currently involved with all technical aspects of KJA operations including the oversight of certain national and local accounts, major projects, new installation, and modernization projects as well as compliance and portfolio management.

He has worked in over 60 countries and was based in Dubai on his last assignment responsible for the modernization business for the whole of the Middle East and Africa region for a multinational elevator company.

Jim has direct field and senior management experience related design, installation, modernization and maintenance of escalator and elevator assets. He has served on many technical boards and advisory committees; latterly the TSSA’s FAC.
