As a professional consultant, Javad Fooladi started his career in the vertical transportation industry in 2011. In January 2022, Javad joined KJA as part of the East region in Canada. Javad is currently involved in many aspects of KJA’s vertical transportation services. His managerial experience includes:

  • K.A.R. an Iranian Inspection Body – Technical manager of a group of 30 inspectors in country.

Javad was the lead for this inspection group for ten years. The group oversaw acceptance inspection of all types of elevators, escalators, and cranes in accordance with ASME and EN standards. In 2014, Javad obtained his Iranian professional engineer license. During his tenure, Javad was nominated by Iranian National Standards Organization for participating as a committee personnel for publishing two national standard in Iran:

  • Code of practice for safe working on escalators and moving walks based on BS 7801:2011

  • Code of rules for the improvement of the safety of existing passenger and goods passenger lifts based on BS EN81-80.
