Bill Snyder

Bill Snyder has a comprehensive background in the elevator industry, having previously owned VTE Solution and currently working as an Elevator Consultant and Inspector with VTE Solution/Liberty Elevator Experts. In 2012, he started his own elevator consulting and inspection company after leaving Elevator CSI. From 2004 to 2012, he served as Chief Inspector and Head of Operations at the Tampa branch office. In 2019, VTE Solution merged with Liberty Elevator Experts.

Bill is a certified Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) by NAESA International, with certification number 324 since 1987. He is also a Florida Certified Elevator Inspector (CEI) with certification number 253. With a strong professional network, he is a member of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International (NAESA), and the International Association of Elevator Consultants (IAEC). Bill has been actively involved in various committees, including the ASME A17.1 Main Standards Committee, the ISO TAG Committee, and the ASME A17.2 Guide for Inspection of Elevators, Escalators, and Moving Walks Committee.

Throughout his career, Bill has been dedicated to education and training. He serves as an instructor for the Florida Elevator Mechanic Certificate of Competency (CC) and provides training for NAESA-QEI and QEITF (Qualified Elevator Inspector Training Fund) continuing education requirements. He has developed educational presentations and has been an instructor for the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International (NAESA) since 2002. Additionally, he has conducted classes and seminars nationwide on ASME codes for elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, NEC, building codes, and handicapped accessibility codes. Before his work in the elevator industry, Bill served as the Manager of Contracts Management Division in the Public Works Department at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland, overseeing facility support maintenance, repair, and construction elevator contracts.
