Alex Laliberte is a Certified Elevator Inspector (CEI) and an Elevating Devices Mechanic – Class F (EDM-F) with 13 years experience as a vertical transportation consultant. Alex Laliberte has significant experience in performing vertical transportation safety inspections, maintenance audits and condition assessments. Most notably in such distinguished buildings as, Parliament Hill, Bank of Canada Headquarters, Rideau Hall, Department of National Defence Headquarters and Rideau Centre Mall. He also has been a lead consultant for several large-scale modernization and new construction projects such as Ottawa City Hall modernization, 90 Elgin Street construction, 150 Elgin construction, The Ottawa Hospital modernization and Ottawa Community Housing. His managerial experience includes:

Technical training for associates
Alex has performed thousands of audits and inspections of vertical transportation devices in Ontario and across Canada. Most notably, he was the lead consultant for the Federal Government safety inspections in the National Capital Region which includes prominent buildings such as Parliament Hill (East, West and Centre Blocks), Supreme Court of Canada, The Senate of Canada, Wellington Building, East and West Memorial Buildings, Confederation Building and Justice Building. He has also been heavily involved in the procurement, management and implementation of vertical transportation maintenance audits for several major private sector Clients such as Homestead Land Holdings, Cadillac Fairview, GWL Realty Advisors, CLV Group, Morguard, Colonnade BridgePort and Osgoode Properties.
Through the years, Alex has been involved in countless modernization and new development projects in Ontario and across Canada including major Federal and Provincial Government rehabilitation projects. This includes notable projects such as the DND Headquarters relocation and rehabilitation project Phase I-IV, ZIBI Ottawa development, The Ottawa Hospital, Wellington Building rehabilitation, Confederation Building rehabilitation, Place du Portage Phase III rehabilitation and The Supreme Court of Canada modernization.
