Michael Fagan

Michael Fagan is a nationally recognized expert elevator consultant with 50 + years of industry experience in elevator design, construction, modernization, maintenance and repair.

For over 24 years, Michael has been an expert witness in federal, state and municipal courts. As a Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC), he has provided knowledgeable research and effective litigation analysis in support of hundreds of claims investigations for construction defects, contract disputes and mediation, accident investigation and reconstruction, fire and flood investigations, and wrongful death. His experience in conveyance related litigation matters keeps him in demand by owners, carriers and attorneys, for investigations, knowledgeable information, and effective testimony.

Michael began working on elevators for Westinghouse Elevator at age 21 and has been a part of the elevator industry ever since. Over the last 50 years, he’s been involved in everything from construction, repair, maintenance, and project management, to oversight, for design and modernization, and as a contractor. He led engineering teams with numerous high-rise projects in New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Michael is a straight shooter who will happily share the benefit of his extensive experience, knowledge, and expertise.
